How do i remove the skin/fat around my stomach in terms of nutrition and diet?
Posted under skin nutritionI am 16, am 6′2 in height and weight 163 lbs… I run twice a week and go to the gym-abs training and muscle training 3 times a week… I rest on Sunday. I have recently lost alot of weight-about a stone.
Why dont my abs show through considering i have awesome pecks and arms? HELP
i believe its nutrition anyone got any advice on diet or diet plans?
A six pack showing through has a lot to do with your body fat percentage. Take protein after working out your core, not just your abs, and do a lot of cardio.

Think about how most guys gain weight. Do they retain their washboard abs but get flabby arms and manboobs? Or do they grow a gut, maybe even without much of a change in the rest of their body? Obviously it’s the latter. Most men (and some women) use that convenient atop-the-abs area as prime fat storage real estate. Chest and arms? Not so much. Look around, and you’ll notice plenty of guys with muscular, defined arms and soft bellies.
The key to getting your abs to show is to have a very low percentage of fat in your body. Generally, having less than 10% body fat means you’ll be able to see your six-pack. And that’s very low. You need around 5% body fat just to survive comfortably day to day. Most fit, healthy men are around 15% body fat. Up to 25% is considered healthy.
If you’re serious about working out and eating right (ie, varying your working routines, not skimping on cardio, staying away from junk food, and balancing protein/carbs/fats), you’ll probably get some ab definition eventually. If you want to bring results faster, you can do what the body builders do and go into "cutting" mode, where you drastically reduce your calories while continuing to work out; it’s essentially the same as going on a diet. You can’t cut without losing some muscle, but for body builders this is worth it; they’ve got muscle to spare, and it’s important to them to get an extremely low body fat percentage so their muscles look as defined as possible.
If you’re just trying to be fit and look good but would like to shed a little fat so your abs show through, a better idea would be to divide up your food into 5-7 small, balanced meals each day and do some high intensity interval training (often abbreviated HIIT. Google it.) 3-5 times a week. Studies suggest that both of these methods stimulate the body to burn fat, much better than just jogging a few miles and eating 3 squares a day. Also, don’t overwork your abs. Everybody’s body is different, but a lot of people find that they get better ab results results from doing full-body exercises like pullups and pushups, maybe with a few ab/core-specific exercises thrown in, than they do from spending hours every week just working their abs.
