Skin care tips and suggestions?

Posted under skin care tips

I’m trying to get a bit better skin and I wanted to hear some people’s opinions about what they use or just cheap ways to help the overall appearance of it. My skin isn’t bad (meaning I don’t look like a pizza face), but I always get that annoying pimple or blackhead and there’s always room for improvement, but it’s not something I’m truly worried about.. But some tips are always helpful!

Make sure that your face is always clean. You should use mild face cleansers to wash your face daily. Make sure your not touching on your face throughout the day, because your hands carry germs and bacteria. You need to make sure you’re using moisturizer and sun screen on your face daily as well. A lot of the facial moisturizers out today have sun screen already in them. Make sure you exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week to get rid of and shed the dead skin cells that could clog your pores causing a pimple. The steam room works wonders for skin complexion if you don’t have access to a steam room use a bathroom and a hot shower to give the same effect. Afterwards is the best time to exfoliate. If you don’t already have an exfoliator, mix some honey and sugar together and gently scrub your face in a circular motion. And lastly what you eat plays a major part in your complexion as well. Drink lots of water, eat green leafy vegetables along with fruit.

the best tip i can give is to keep your skin hydrated…and what better way than to drink, drink, drink, the water!!! Dove soap is a good non-drying soap to use and keep an acne cream on hand for those occassional breakouts. A good astringent once a week or so in the "T" zone is great as well. Many products are now made for "sensitive skin" those seem to be the most sought after.

Well, if this is a problem of zits then I use something wayy simplee and cheap.
When I have annoying zits I mix waster and baking soda and I put it on the zit and let it sit for a while…overnight works well too.
That dries the zit out and it will goo away :]
I hope that that works wll for you!

drinking plenty of water moisturizes the skin, when it comes to skin care products, always read the ingredients. using something made from natural/organic ingredients help. from my personal opinion about blackheads and pimples, stay away from fried and oily food. if you can take evening primrose capsules as supplement, it’s good for the skin. for natural/organic products try burt’s bee products. it’s very affordable.

same with me. before you wash your face dab it with a hot wash cloth to open up your pores. Then what I would suggest that works very good would be Velocity by Mary Kay

    http://www.marykay.com/skincare/velocity/default.aspx

    Its a 3 step process.
    1.apply the cleanser with water
    2.wash it off
3.and apply the oil free moisturizer.

This should prevent acne. Use it twice a day. But, when you do get acne this stuff it good for that….

    Hope I helped!
