Has any used Skin Nutrition: Stretch Mark Cream with Shea Butter, Vitamin A, E, C and added Skin Tightener?

Posted under skin nutrition

I only want a answer if you have used this and if so how well does it work will it help old ones that have turned white???

I am currently in the process on using it. It is slowly fading them! I can tell. It takes about 3 weeks to finally start seeing awesome results. I have really dark stretch marks. I hate them, and I think that you can only get rid of the dark marks because they still have blood, the white ones are already done with, so they are most likely to stay. There are so many products out there, and you can experiment as you go along. I got skin nutrition on amazon.com and it has a 60 day money back guarantee. It comes in a container, and looks small but it lasts a long time. You only need a small amount of cream for each area affected with stretch marks. :) Hope this helped! God bless!

Food for skin repair?

Posted under skin rejuvenation

Guys,i need ur help…i hav very serius acne scar problems and i would like to know wat kind of food may hlp for the rejuvenation of the skin…Thank you very much and appreciate ur hlp…

Water
If you’re dehydrated, your skin will take longer to heal. Wrinkles are also more apparent when skin is dehydrated; the more hydrated you are, the plumper your skin will be.

Salmon
Salmon is rich in omega-3 and omega-6. These essential fatty acids help with cell regeneration, which helps to keep the skin looking young and assists in repairing the skin.

Blueberries
Blueberries are second only to salmon in how rich they are in omega-3s. Berries are also rich in vitamin C, another essential antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals.
Oils
Olive oil, flax see oil, canola oil and even hemp seed oil are all rich in essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6.
Nuts
Walnuts, almonds and Brazil nuts are all very rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Vitamin E is naturally hydrating and is clinically proven to help skin heal faster after trauma.

Leafy Greens and Carrots
Carrots and leafy greens such as kale or spinach are rich in vitamin A, essential in skin cell turnover, which is key in skin repair. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals.

Dairy
Most dairy products, like low-fat yogurt, are rich in vitamin D. Vitamin D plays a key role in maintaining the health of your body’s organs–and your skin is your largest organ.

how much do dermatologists usually make?

Posted under anti aging treatment

im thinking about going into dermatology but my mother said that I should go into a profession that makes 250,000 + a year
if they include all anti-aging treatments and prescription ho much do you think they would make?

250,000 – that equals to a doctor earning more than 20K a month. Dermatologist maybe making that much but they are the highest tax payers as well.
So definitely 30% percent in just taxes to federal government and another 5-10% in medical insurance and other insurances.
You forgot house rent if you are living in rented apartment.
Besides if you have the treatment equipments at your clinic, don’t forget the maintenance charges you will have to pay plus the amount of money you will have put in to gain and learn that expertise.
Remember money is not everything.
Doctors are human as well and they can also fall sick so you need to have a life that gives you leisure and happiness and job satisfaction.
Doctors who are into the profession just to make money and who never empathise their patients are never successfull.
Don’t get into a profession just because it has money, remember the more money you earn the more responsible position you are in.
Remember getting an MD degree costs alot money too and not all dermatologist are successfull and reputed.

All the best.
Choose a profession you like and love it.

How do i remove the skin/fat around my stomach in terms of nutrition and diet?

Posted under skin nutrition

I am 16, am 6′2 in height and weight 163 lbs… I run twice a week and go to the gym-abs training and muscle training 3 times a week… I rest on Sunday. I have recently lost alot of weight-about a stone.
Why dont my abs show through considering i have awesome pecks and arms? HELP
i believe its nutrition anyone got any advice on diet or diet plans?

A six pack showing through has a lot to do with your body fat percentage. Take protein after working out your core, not just your abs, and do a lot of cardio.

Questions about Facial Skin Care Routines?

Posted under facial skin care

Should I do them twice a day? One in the morning, and one at night?

And do I apply it on before or after I exercise? Thanks!

Well, if you have oily/combination skin, you definitely have to wash your face twice a day, maybe with toner if you prefer and SPF moisturizer in the morning, maybe a light moisturizer at night.
If you have dry skin, you should wash your face at night to get rid of all the gunk, but in the morning, if your skin doesn’t seem to be very dirty/greasy, then you could just go over it w/ a toner or splash some water on your face and be done with it.
And for exercising … If it’s in the morning I’d say before, since you might dry your skin out if you don’t do that. If it’s later during the day, the skin care routine doesn’t come in as a problem.

What is the need of shampoos and skin lotions when the hair and skins are made up of dead cells?

Posted under skin nutrition

Shampoos and skin lotions claim that they are rich in vitamins and other nutrients. What is the need of nutrition to dead cells?
Are these claims false?

This Question has been asked after a hair-cut!!

Hair is aesthetically a very important part of the human body. All of us desire to have smooth, soft and lustrous hair. This is done with use of shampoos and conditioners.

The surface of the skin contains oil, dead cells, sweat, grime, dirt, grease & pollutants. If this is not removed, the skin looks dull & flaky. Cleansing is an important part of skin care & can be done with simple soaps or cleansers. The skin should be washed at least twice a day with soap & warm water. Deodorant soaps with antiseptic agents are good for oily skin. Super fatted soaps or glycerin-based soaps are good for dry & normal skin. For the skin to look healthy & glowing, its uppermost layer called stratum corneum should contain more than 10% of the total water content of the body. Thus, comes the role of a moisturizer. People with dry to normal skin should use a moisturizer twice a day after cleansing. Those with oily skin should be careful & use an oil free moisturizer only once a day.
Lastly, be gentle on your skin. Do not use harsh cosmetics. If you have a skin problem, seek professional advice.

I want to start taking care of my body and skin now! Help?

Posted under body skin care

I am female, 16 years old. I have combination and acne prone skin. I am planning to start working out and taking all my vegetarian frinedly vitamins, but what else can I do for my skin, body, specific facial care, etc? I rather start taking care of myself now than regretting it later! Thanks!

Girl, I had the same problem when I was your age.

1) Get some kind of acne medicine. If you have continuous acne, get something that’s strong. If it’s just frequent acne, get something that isn’t as strong.
Tip: If you tend to get acne on the side of your face, it may be your phone. So make sure you clean it.

2) MOISTURIZE! I can’t stress this enough. If you don’t moisturize then your face will get dry and will become irritated. If you have redness, it’s most likely irritated skin.

3) Try to use body wash that not only smells good, but has some kind of moisturizing effect on your skin. I recommend Dove Beauty Bars. They work amazingly and are hypo-allergenic. So it does not contain any harsh chemicals that could damage your skin.

4) Eating healthy makes your skin healthy. Ever heard the saying, "You are what you eat"? That is absolutely true. For example, if you eat greasy hamburgers all the time, not only are they bad for you, but they’re bad for your skin, because all that grease comes out in sweat. Once it comes out in sweat, it gets into your pores, causing acne.

Does putting anti-aging facial lotion on your hands get rid of hand wrinkles?

Posted under facial wrinkles

I have an anti-aging facial lotion/cream and wanted to know if using it on my hands (like hand lotion/cream) would help get rid of fine wrinkles in the hands.

i would advise you to apply natural products such as: beaten egg, rosemary and water mixture, juice of apples and pineapples and herbal products like: turmeric powder etc.Applying coconut oil and castor oil would be of great help too.these are all natural and completely without side-effects and very easy to get too.don’t rely on artificial products.hope this helps.

I’m planning on getting facial rejuvenation… and laser hair removal?

Posted under skin rejuvenation

I’m planning on getting facial rejuvenation… and laser hair removal. I am a 21 year old female. I have acne and pimple scars all over my forehead and they look horrible even with makeup. I want laser rejuvenation for my facial skin and facial hair removal for my upper lip.

What are some concerns and what is the pricing usually like?
What is the procedure that can help my skin scars on my forehead?

Most clinics will give you a free consultation. I recommend you check around to see what your options are in your area and talk to a professional face-to-face. Then can tell you best based on their experience what kind of results you could hope for. It will probably cost around $300-$400 per session and you will need several sessions spaced out over several months. I’d had laser treatment myself and I’m very pleased with the results. I felt was well worth the price just to feel more confident about my appearance.
