   Deep lines on your forehead at such a young age are often caused by the facial expressions you use. These are called expression lines.

   When you look up always move your whole head upwards and never, ever look up moving just your eyes because this will crease your forehead and expression lines will form.

   The best way to deal with these lines is to practise facial exercises and also use frownies at night, which is tape that stops you from deepening these lines while you sleep by preventing you from pulling the expressions that cause them.

   You could also give your face and forehead a deep massage. Just use your favourite moisturiser and use small, firm circular movements with your fingertips. This will help to iron out the creases and also improve blood circulation which will give your face a younger fresher look.

   Choose products that are 100% natural and made with natural ingredients. Be aware that most anti ageing creams on the market contain chemicals which cause inflammation; it is this inflammation which gives skin a plumped up appearance. They do temporarily alleviate lines and wrinkles but inflammation is one of the main causes of ageing.

   Unfortunately, unless you use products which only contain natural ingredients the very anti ageing product you choose could be contributing towards the problem.

   You say you have been using Olay First Effects for about a year with no visible improvement.

   I have used Olay since I was 17 and now I’m 55. I have no deep lines and just a few fine lines around my eyes (laughter lines). The reason I’m telling you this is not to boast but to show you that your forehead lines are probably being caused by something you do everyday such as creasing your forehead with facial expressions.

   Hayley, I’m 23, I recommend what I use; Preve extreme anti aging by Isabella Pelle. It’s made specifically for fine lines/wrinkles. It has the highest concentration of "peptides" active ingredients to fight them. Also has the highest concentration of the best known moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. This has kept my skin baby smooth.
   Last month they came out with a more concentrated version of Preve called Cura. It’s everything Preve except they concentrated it to extreme. I got it 2 weeks ago; it’s excellent. What you need to do is decide which one is best for you. I recommend both.
